Organic Water

You know what airports are like. You’re the most captive of captive audiences, simultaneously going somewhere and nowhere. With not much to do but browse and wait, what’s left but to eat and shop?

I spotted this little gem during a stopover in Sydney.

If we’re getting scientific here, water, by definition, is an inorganic substance (to be organic, you need carbon). Perhaps they were going for ‘natural’ or ‘pure’ but felt more justification was needed for the whopping AUD$3.70 for a 250ml bottle.

But I guess it’s a lot more appealing than labelling it ‘dihydrogen monoxide’.
